"Apex subscribes fully to the principles of good Corporate Governance
as set out in the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance.
Operationally, the highest decision-making body in the company is the
Board of Directors. The Board normally meets four times a year and is
directly answerable to the highest authority of the company, the
Shareholders in general meeting.
The Board consists of seven members with expertise and experience in
accounting, medicine, pharmacy, finance, engineering, construction
and other industries. All important business and operational
decisions are taken by the Board.
The Board delegates certain important functions to Board committees.
Currently these are the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
More information on the activities of the Board and its committees is
provided every year in the Annual Report to Shareholders." |
